The #BattleOfTheBooks Final 4 Match-Ups Are Set & Voting Is LIVE!

#BattleOfTheBooks

Routs. Upsets. Nail Biters. And…overtime. NJ sportsbooks and bettors everywhere can’t look away.

We’ve had it all in the Battle of the Books, which has crowned its entrants to the Final Four in the Twitter equivalent of March Madness.

“People’s Champ” of NJ Sportsbooks?

Twitter voters at PlayNJ.com have reduced the field of 16 championship books down to an illustrious quartet.

PointsBet meets TheScore in one semifinal, while SugarHouse opposes FanDuel in the other. Winners advance to the championship.

Twitter users can vote in every game and qualify for prizes.

Let’s examine who basks in the tweet heat

Congratulations to defending champion PointsBet Spoortsbook, which obliterated its first two opponents, clearing more than 80% polling in its second-round victory and 76% in the opener.

Not resting on its laurels, this team looks even more seasoned than last year.

The champs will meet upstart TheScore, which has delivered two resounding triumphs.

  1. Its upset of industry pioneer DraftKings set a tone for underdogs in this tournament.
  2. And then TheScore deep-sixed the 888 squad, garnering more than 83% of votes cast.

These are the two most impressive NJ Sportsbooks teams thus far. Some believe PointsBet and TheScore is the real championship final.

In the other bracket, a tip of the hat to FanDuel, which survived a tough first-round contest and pulled away in its second.

Is this team peaking at the right time?

And how about the SugarHouse Shuffle? PlaySugarHouse Sportsbook obtained a taut victory over Borgata and then secured the first overtime win of the tourney against Bet 365.

That’s right. OT Baby. SugarHouse notched a buzzer-beating tweet to force the extra session, overcame a slow start in overtime and finally triumphed going away. This team has lived dangerously – twice – and prevailed.

UPDATE:

FanDuel moves on to the final round with 62% of the vote over PlaySugarHouse
