It has been more than a year since we saw Conor McGregor inside the UFC octagon. The former two-division champion fought Khabib Nurmagomedov in his last fight back in October 2018. Since there have been a lot of speculations surrounding a McGregor return.
Initially, The Notorious One wanted an immediate rematch against the reigning lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
And since that wasn’t happening a match with Justin Gaethje seemed like the next best thing.
But after this “Happy Birthday” Tweet from Conor, it looks like it’s going to be Conor McGregor VS Frankie Edgar in December of this year…
