Only those sportsbooks and commercial entities who have engaged the National Football League with some sponsorship or partnership deal are allowed to use the term “Super Bowl” in their offerings. Unfortunately, FanDuel is not part of that group.
However, the biggest sports betting entity in New Jersey and other states have a good sense of humor about it. You may have seen their ads where a spokesman has the title for Sunday’s game bleeped out of his speech.
The commercial highlights the site’s 55-1 odds for new players who bet the winner of SB LV.
However, for those who are existing customers or don’t want to (or can’t) put money on the game, the site has a cool promotion based around game props: Big Game Bingo.
FanDuel Big Game Bingo
FanDuel’s Chief Marketing Officer Mike Raffensperger called the contest “a way for people … to come in at a low-risk, super-simple, super-casual way to see what it’s all about.”
- The contest is free to all participants with a million-dollar prize pool.
- The board features 24 props with a free space, similar to a standard bingo card.
- Squares range from stats, formations, and various play results. Some have nothing to do with the game, like if someone will be featured on camera.

Playing the game will be fairly simple.
- When a prop cashes, the site will automatically fill the square.
- Players will be required to call their “Bingos” (best to keep napkins or wet wipes on hand for sticky fingers).
- Prizes range from free DFS tickets to the top prize of $10,000.
“We wanted a game that was as approachable for everybody as possible,” Raffensperger said. “Bingo’s one of the most well-known, popular games, everybody knows how it works, so making that accessible through the lens of the Super Bowl we thought was a fun mechanic so we’re excited for it.”
FanDuel Sportsbook will also run a variety of betting options for the game, along with a DFS contest Raffensperger expects to create a record turnout.
