Super Bowl Odds For Remaining Divisional Round Teams

Posted on January 11, 2020

And then there were eight. With a weekend that shows why they call it the Wild Card Round in the books, the top two teams from each conference will host the surviving quartet in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs. But, let’s take a look at the Super Bowl champion odds for all remaining NFL teams.

Super Bowl Champion Odds – Divisional Round Edition

This has been dubbed “The Best Weekend of the Season” and has been this way since the modern format took place following the 1970 merger.

With memorable plays like The Immaculate Reception, 4th and 26, and the reason Ed Podolak isn’t just another name lost to history, the four games this week should add to that sterling reputation.

However, not all bettors are keeping their eyes on this weekend. Some have waited for this time to determine the 2020 Super Bowl champion odds

NJ sportsbooks have prices ready for the NFL’s elite eight.

NFL Futures: According to DraftKings, FanDuel & FOXBet

Let’s take a look at some of the prices available (as of Friday night) on the champion futures market with each game.

49ers VS Vikings

San Francisco’s goal-line stand at Seattle to close out the NFL regular season could have been one of the most consequential plays in the franchise’s history. Not only does the road to Miami run through Santa Clara, the Vikings upset of New Orleans means no Round 3 with the Seahawks until maybe next weekend.

Minnesota’s overtime win over the Saints certainly makes them viable to win against the Niners. Despite being a six-seed, they enter the sixth-best price on the futures board, at +1400 for DraftKings.

FoxBet and FanDuel has a slight bump to +1500.

San Fran has home field throughout the playoffs and are the shortest odds in the NFC.

There’s some variation, from +320 to +325 to +333 at most NJ sports betting sites.

Their inexperience in big games may scare away some players.

Ravens VS Titans

Night games are just fun in East Coast venues during the playoffs. If it’s snowing in New England, cold in Philly, or windy in Pittsburgh, it can make it daunting for visitors.

The Ravens have earned the one seed in the AFC and are the money-line favorites across the board. DraftKings, FoxBet and PlaySugarHouse have Lamar Jackson’s team at +200, slightly higher than other books.

If Baltimore is the lowest price, Tennessee should be the highest, right?

Not so fast. The Titans are second-highest, despite being a six seed. Most books have them at 28/1, with FanDuel offering +3000.

Chiefs VS Texans

Could this FINALLY be Andy Reid’s year? The Chiefs are much improved on defense, with the same sizzling play of Patrick Mahomes, and there’s no chance they face the Patriots, cuz they got beat in the Wild Card round!

KC is third choice among the books with at +340 or +350 moneyline odds.

That price may seem a bit low given the Ravens are favorites, but the two-seed Chiefs did defeat Baltimore at Arrowhead in Week 3.

Houston was the only home team to win last weekend. Their reward?

The longest odds on the books, ranging from 28/1 at DK and PSH, 30/1 at PointsBet and FoxBet, to 33/1 at FanDuel.

Packers VS Seahawks

I’m not sure if I like moving the last divisional match-up to a primetime-ish window (6 pm EST kickoff). I’m also not sure if Seattle is ready to deal with all the snow in the forecast for the game.

Ok, Russell Wilson did finish his college career at Wisconsin. The fifth-seeded Seahawks are nonetheless the fifth choice on the board, 12/1 everywhere but FanDuel, who has them bumped up to 14/1.

The Packers won games late in the season to secure the bye and have that fantastic home field advantage for this round. They enter the fourth-best price on the board, ranging from +750  to +900 at the bigger sportsbooks.
