Rory McIlroy is the No. 4 player in the world but the wins haven’t been frequent this year. He’s picked up just one win on the year and has struggled of late.
He placed fifth at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March but since returning from the hiatus, he hasn’t finished better than 11th in any event.
As for Bryson DeChambeau, he was on fire earlier in the year, having a stretch of golf where he finished in the Top 8 in seven straight tournaments.
That was capped off by a win at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Since then, though, he’s missed the cut, finished 30th, finished fourth, missed the cut and placed 50th at the BMW Championship last week.
